RPS - bringing the latest texting technology to Hampshire.
Tech-savvy Estate Agents RPS are revolutionising house hunting for the Lee on the Solent, Alverstoke, Stubbington and Gosport community as they bring the latest texting technology to Hampshire. From October 2009 house hunters can receive property details to their mobile phones whilst outside a RPS property, simply by sending a text message.
Known as “Textboarding” house hunters will be able to text a property code (which is displayed underneath the RPS For Sale and To Let boards) and instantly receive a text message back containing that property’s details.
Mark Rowe, Managing Director at RPS Estate Agents said: “Textboarding is the future for house hunting, we are very excited to be providing this technology to the people of Lee on the Solent and surrounding areas. You’ll now notice Textboards on all of our For Sale/To Let boards so if you’re house hunting in our area you now have an even easier way to find property details. Also, if you are selling or letting, you’ll get even more enquiries on your property.”
Industry expert Melfyn Williams has heralded Textboards as an essential tool for Estate Agents, the National Association of Estate Agents President 2003-2004 said: “Textboarding is such an efficient and effective service, it helps house hunters to find the information that they want, when they need it. The feedback that we’re getting from house hunters is very positive.”
Textboards Managing Director Nicholas Maguire comes from a long and distinguished career in the communications industry and says: “There are obvious parallels between the launch of property websites and the introduction of texting for property details. In the year 2000 house hunters could get property details from the Internet without picking up the phone. Now in 2008 Textboards is helping house hunters to get the property details from outside of a property, day or night, just by using text messaging.”
